Ludwik Wajszczuk (1689)

Ludwik was deported to Germany as a forced laborer and stayed there since September 1941 until March 1945. His documents mention the town of Kassel in Muecke Bezirk in Hessen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kassel). The details are not known. A sub-camp of the Dachau Concentration Camp was located in this area during WW-II. The Henschel armament factories were also located in the area, where slave labour from the concentration camp was extensively employed.

We are not sure, if Ludwik was a camp prisoner and worked in these factories since his documents gathered by the IPN (Institute for National Remembrance) and FNPN (Foundation for German-Polish Reconciliation) mention only a sawmill ("Tartak") as a place of his work in Kassel.
